Frequently asked questions

How do I know which size to take?
Measure around your ribcage in inches, right under the bust, and read off your back size in the size guide. Then measure around the fullest part of the bust. The difference between the two measurements gives your cup. The full chart is in the size guide here on the page. If you land between two back sizes, take the smaller one. The band relaxes after a few washes, and it's the band that carries the weight.

Is the underwire uncomfortable?
The underwire is soft and flexible, and it sits so that it follows your ribs rather than resting against breast tissue. Several of the women who have left reviews say they forget it is there. If the back size is too big the wire rides up and presses instead, so the size decides more than the wire itself.

Will it show under a thin top?
The cup is smooth and unlined and the edges are laser cut, so there's no edge that shows through and no visible seam. We should be honest about one thing: unlined means there is no foam layer, and under very thin or pale fabric the bust can show through more than it would in a padded bra.

How much smaller does the bust look?
The manufacturer states one to one and a half cup sizes. The difference shows most clearly under fitted clothes, buttoned shirts and knitwear. Under a loose jumper you notice it less, simply because the garment is not sitting against your body.

How do I wash it?
Hand washing in cold water with a mild detergent keeps the shape longest. If it goes in the machine: a wash bag, thirty degrees, delicate cycle. No fabric conditioner and no tumble dryer, that breaks down the elastane and then the band stops holding.

What happens if it doesn't fit?
Thirty days. Exchange for another size or send it back, your choice. Write to us at kontakt@minbh.se and we'll sort it out.

How quickly does it arrive?
We send your order within one to two working days. It goes with tracked delivery and normally arrives within five to ten working days. Delivery is free within the United Kingdom, and if you exchange for another size we send the new one out free of charge.

MyBra

In front of the mirror in the fitted top

You Know Exactly Which Top We Mean

The one that was meant to look lovely. You pull it on, look in the mirror and you feel it straight away: the fabric strains across the bust and then falls straight down, as if you had no waist at all.
You tug at the hem. You twist. You change into something looser. Again. So many women with a heavy bust do exactly the same thing every morning, and most of them think it's their body. You're far from alone. And it isn't your body.

The same top, now it lies flat

We See You. And We See A Way Out.

We built the Zara Bra for exactly that moment in front of the mirror. A high panel at the centre front holds each breast in its own place, so the volume never gathers in the middle and points out.
Your jumper lies flat. Your shirt does up. You look in the mirror, and for the first time in a long while you don't need to change. No miracle cure. Just a bra that does what a bra is meant to do.

The high mesh panel at the centre front The soft unlined cup from the inside The wide strap with its adjuster Three rows of hook-and-eye fastenings at the back

How It Does It

The mesh panel at the centre front sits high and rests against your breastbone, and that is the part that holds them apart. The underwire is soft and follows your ribs without digging in.
The fabric is double layered and wicks moisture away, so it doesn't turn clammy by three in the afternoon. The straps are wide, the sides come up high under the arm, and at the back there are three rows of hook-and-eye fastenings. Real cup sizes: back sizes 32 to 46, cups B to FF. Beige, black, white and wine.

Why it looks different under your jumper

  • A high panel at the centre front

Holds each breast in its own place all day.

  • A soft underwire that lies flat

Follows your ribs instead of digging in.

  • A double layer that breathes

Wicks moisture away, even at three in the afternoon.

30 Day Fit Guarantee

Order the Zara Bra and try it on at home in your own time. Wear it under the jumper you reach for most and look in the mirror. If you see no difference, send it back within 30 days. And if it’s only the size that’s wrong, of course we’ll exchange it.

Our vision

No woman should have to leave a garment hanging in the wardrobe because her bra does the wrong thing with her bust. That's why the Zara Bra exists: a high panel at the centre front that holds apart instead of squashing flat, in real cup sizes.

The fabric is soft and light and really does breathe. The underwire took a bit of getting used to, but without one I don't feel held. The band at the back is wide and has several hooks. It doesn't make the bust point out the way other bras do.

I've bought expensive French bras for years, because they were the only ones that came in my size. I've tried other brands that claimed to do large sizes, but it wasn't true. I was sceptical about this one. I'm a 34FF and it fits perfectly.

The best bra I've owned. I wear it every day and my body refuses to look good in anything else. I don't have to think about anything spilling out. My only regret is that I didn't find it sooner. It was always either the cups too small or the band too big.

I've always hated bras. The first thing on my mind at the end of the day was getting it unhooked. My breasts hang low and most bras hoist them up too far so the band cuts in. This one doesn't feel too firm, doesn't cut in, lifts but not too high, and holds them apart.

My biggest worry was that something would spill out when I move about at work. It doesn't happen, however much I move. It keeps everything in place and it really does minimise. I went with the size I had measured myself rather than the one the size guide suggested.

I'd never found a minimiser I was happy with, until now. I bought a 36F, followed the measuring instructions, and it fits beautifully. It looks lovely and the way it sits under a t-shirt is exactly what I wanted.

I'm fifty four and I've worn a great many bras in my life. I'm a 36DD. Honestly the most comfortable one I've had. Normally I take my bra off the moment I get home from work. Not this one.

Wide straps and a wide underband. It lifts, holds apart, minimises and smooths the body really well. It also wicks moisture away and keeps me cool. I'll be buying more.

I find it hard to get the right bra. What made me try it was the extra layer at the top that stops anything spilling over the edge, and it works completely. I'm normally a 40DD and bought the same, fit is perfect.

Absolutely wonderful. Wore it today and felt comfortable all day, and the bust looked great. The price is reasonable too. I'll definitely buy again.

I'm very fussy. I've tried plenty that claim to be supportive but comfortable, and wasted a lot of money on non-wired ones. This one actually does the job. Comfortable and supportive. I'm replacing the rest with this one.

I like it. Light, not bulky. Takes up hardly any room in the bag when travelling. It holds the bust, minimises and smooths so you can't see the outline of the bra through your top.

Lora K.

The bra itself is probably one of the best in large sizes I've had. Very comfortable in every way. I'm taking off a star because the delivery took a very long time.

I've got two of them and they're comfortable, but they don't lift the bust very much. I use them as everyday bras at home. I wish there were a version with a bit more padding that lifts more.

Catherine D.

On the whole I like it. The problem for me was that it's unlined, which I suppose I should have worked out. It's very hot where I live, and walking into air conditioned buildings isn't ideal without a lining.

It was really uncomfortable for me. The side panels pressed against my ribs and I'm fairly small as it is. I couldn't wait to get it off. Very disappointed.
